Hello! Welcome to my website. A little about me...My family and I have made Kittery, Maine our home for the last nine years. This will be the start of my eighteenth year teaching Spanish! I hold a Master's Degree in Hispanic Studies and have taught International Baccalaureate classes in Colorado, all levels of High School Spanish, Community College conversational classes and led many trips abroad including: Outward Bound Costa Rica, Ecuador and the Galapagos, Puerto Rico, Spain and Mexico. I am very passionate about teaching and love learning new and best practices. I believe that all students are capable of learning a language if they make the learning process their own. The best learning can take place outside the classroom walls and I encourage students to look for situations in which to engage.
I love: being a mom, my hubby, chasing my dog, teaching Spanish, adventuring, yoga, paddle boarding, trail running, hut trips, West African dance, singing with guitar accompaniment, campfires, camping, skiing, down jackets, good coffee, sunsets out west, spending time with great friends, beach fires, travel…
